The Battery Combustion Tester 6008C is used to heat the sample until the battery explodes or burns out, and to time the combustion process to evaluate the safety performance of the battery under abnormal conditions.
The test screen is woven with stainless steel wire of diameter 0.02"(0.43mm), containing 20 grids per inch; the octagonal cover is woven with aluminum wire of diameter 0.01"(0.25mm), containing 16-18 grids per inch, and is detachable and replaceable.
Using methane or liquefied petroleum gas as fuel, the Bunsen burner has automatic ignition, simple operation, adjustable flame application time, and adjustable flame height.
The box front is equipped with a safety observation window, using double 5mm thick tempered glass for easy observation of the product status during testing. The door is welded with a protective mesh to prevent items from flying out in case of battery explosion.
The box is reinforced and the outer box is made of high-quality cold-rolled steel sheet spray-painted for durability. The inner box is made of stainless steel for corrosion resistance. The box back side is equipped with exhaust fans and external exhaust interfaces to effectively exhaust smoke and pressure to ensure experimental safety.
